New Favorite Mixed-Media Techniques!

Hello Blogosphere!

It’s Hump-Day and I thought I’d share two favorite new-to-me techniques! Both are on the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Blog and the first one is a Melted Paper Crafter Crayons technique where you heat up a wood panel in the oven before gliding on your crayon art! I loved using the Glasses Stencil for this technique because I was at a complete loss on how to incorporate that stencil into my artwork!

The 2nd technique is brought to you via YouTube video! It’s a Stenciled Negative Background technique and you can view it HERE!

I hope you enjoy these two tutorials & don’t forget to leave some love :)

Make sure to change the orientation of your paper in your print options to “landscape”, choose borderless 8.5″ x 11″, and scale to fit. Choosing these options will ensure you get the entire spreadsheet on the page. If you’re still having problems, email me :)

Also, I highly recommended having this photo copied or laser printed so that the ink doesn’t run when you add your Gelatos colors!

Here’s my FIRST broadcast on Periscope featuring the Gelatos Color Chart:

The quality for Periscope isn’t up-to-par, BUT it was fun!
